Amazing Jan!!! 🙌🏻❤️🙏🏻 Susan - love the way you honour your incredible Mum. Repost from @bbcscotnews An 82-year-old has earned the title of “cushion queen” among her friends and family after raising more than £129,000 for charity.
Jan O’Neil has upcycled donated fabrics and made more than 40,000 cushion covers.
The cushion covers, which can feature animals, tartans, thistles, or Scottie dogs, have been bought by customers from as far away as Africa and Australia.

Repost from @mercyukorg We all have an internal voice—self-talk that combines conscious thought with root beliefs systems and unconscious judgement to create our internal monologue. It can be difficult to know why we talk to ourselves the way we do and for some of us, sorting through truths from lies or a constructive voice from a critical voice, can be a key part of learning to live free and stay free.
Take a moment to consider this statement. Which one is closest to your internal voice? Or are you somewhere inbetween?
When I make a mistake, my self talk is…
CRITICAL: I blame myself, absorb all fault and resign myself to failure. I might call myself names like ‘stupid’ or ‘loser.’
CONSTRUCTIVE: I explore what could have gone differently without judging or blaming myself and I can admit fault where it is mine, without shame.
Now ask yourself a couple questions: 1. What do you think the impact is of talking to yourself like this? 2. How do you think this internal voice has been formed?
